Terms of Service

Welcome to Gyedo! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gyedo mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Gyedo is a multi-mode social discovery platform that helps people find romantic connections, friendships, professional connections, and event companions. The Service is operated by Gyedo and its team.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
• You may not use the Service if you have been banned, or if you are prohibited from using it by applicable law.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Create fake or misleading profiles, or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Post sexually explicit, violent, or unlawful content.
• Attempt to solicit payment, or use the Service for commercial solicitation without permission.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service's systems.
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity, including the exploitation of minors.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules, in our sole discretion.

5. Content You Post

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, bio, voice notes, prompts). You grant Gyedo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You confirm you have the right to share any content you post, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

6. Safety and Reporting

Your safety matters. We provide in-app reporting and blocking tools. We may automatically pause profiles that receive repeated reports pending review. If you encounter someone behaving dangerously, we encourage you to report them in the app and, if appropriate, contact local authorities.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Gyedo offers a free tier and premium subscriptions ("CORE" and "ALL ACCESS"). Where applicable:

• Payments are processed through the applicable app store (e.g., Google Play). The app store's terms and its payment methods apply to your purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, in accordance with the app store's billing terms.
• Prices may change; we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
• During preview periods, premium features may be granted free of charge. Such grants do not constitute paid subscriptions and may be revoked at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gyedo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (such as authentication and payment providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 5, 8, 9, and 13) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gyedo is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
